1. Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between Retention Systems (“we”, “us”) and you. By connecting your tools, requesting an audit or using the dashboard, you accept them. If you act for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms for it, and “you” means that company.
Our agency services are covered by a separate written agreement. Where it differs from these terms, that agreement takes priority.
2. The audit and the dashboard
Retention Systems reads data from the Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge and Meta accounts you connect, with read-only access, and turns it into reports, metrics and risk scores. The free audit is provided once, at no charge and with no obligation.
Metrics, benchmarks, estimates of revenue at stake and risk scores are estimates based on your data and reasonable assumptions. They are not guarantees of future results, and you're responsible for the business decisions you make with them.
3. Your accounts and your data
- Only connect accounts you're authorised to connect, and give us accurate information.
- You confirm you have a lawful basis to share your customers' data with us for these purposes, and that your own privacy notice allows it.
- You own your data. You give us permission to use it only to provide our services to you, as set out in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement.
- You can disconnect any tool at any time.
4. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no attempts to access other brands' data, break our security, overload our systems or copy the platform.
5. Third-party services
Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge and Meta are run by other companies under their own terms. We're not responsible for their availability or for changes they make that affect what data we can read.
6. Our responsibility
We provide the website, audit and dashboard “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or lost profits or revenue, and our total liability relating to the free audit is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
7. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; we'll change the date at the top and tell clients about significant changes in advance. You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend access if these terms are broken.
