and win them back.

Retention Systems joins your Shopify, Klaviyo, Recharge and Meta data into one customer journey. It finds your three biggest retention leaks, puts a number on each, and flags the customers who are about to leave.

The problem

Four tools.
Four versions of the truth.

Shopify knows the orders. Klaviyo knows the emails. Recharge knows the subscriptions. Meta knows the ads. None of them can tell you why customers stop coming back, so we join them up.

Meta1
Ad12,400new customers from ads
Shopify2

Recharge3
Subscribed3,85031% start a subscription
Klaviyo4

Every customer is matched across all four tools, so each step of the journey connects to the next. Example data.

Joined-up data

Answers no single tool
can give you.

The questions that matter for retention cross from one tool to another. These take seconds when the data is in one place.

MetaShopifyRecharge

Customers who first came from Meta: how many subscribe, and how long do they stay?

31% subscribe. They stay for 5.2 orders, against 3.9 for Google search.

RechargeKlaviyo

Subscribers who cancel at order 3: were they still reading our emails?

64% hadn't clicked an email in 30 days. Most last got the subscription reminder.

KlaviyoShopify

Does the revenue Klaviyo claims match what Shopify shows?

Klaviyo claims £182k. £122k of orders followed an email click.

MetaShopify

Are we making money on new customers, and when?

LTV to CAC is 2.4. A new customer pays back their ad cost in month 4.

How the audit works
in three steps.

Connect

Follow our step-by-step guide to give read-only access to Shopify and Klaviyo, plus Recharge and Meta if you use them. It takes about 10 minutes and changes nothing in your accounts.

We analyse

We import up to 24 months of history in the background and join every customer across your tools. A first look is ready quickly, and we email you when the full audit is done.

Walk-through

On a 30-minute call we show you the numbers, your three biggest leaks, what each one costs you a month, and what we'd fix first. You keep the report.

Find the leaks.
Put a price on each one.

See what email really earns.

Klaviyo credits itself with every order that follows an email, including subscription renewals that would have happened anyway. We put its number next to what Shopify shows, so you know the real figure.

Email revenue, last 90 daysExample data
Klaviyo says email drove£182,400
Orders after an email click£121,900
Of which: subscription renewals£38,700

£38,700 of “email revenue” was subscription renewals that would have happened anyway. The real email number is lower, and so is the target.

Find the order where
subscribers give up.

Subscription churn by order number, with cancellation reasons and skips alongside. When a third of your subscribers leave at the same point, you know exactly where to act.

Questions
and straight answers.

What is the free retention audit?

A report on your own customer data: your key retention numbers against similar brands, your three biggest leaks, and what each one costs you a month. We walk you through it on a 30-minute call, and you keep the report whether or not we work together.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to Shopify and Klaviyo, and to Recharge and Meta ads if you use them. Our guide shows you how to set up each one in a few minutes. We can't change anything in your accounts, and you can remove our access at any time.

How long does it take?

Connecting takes about 10 minutes. We import your history in the background, so you don't need to wait on a page. A first look is ready quickly and we email you when the full audit is done, usually within a few hours depending on how much data you have.

Do I need Recharge or Meta ads?

No. Shopify and Klaviyo are enough for an audit. Recharge adds the subscription sections, and Meta adds ad spend, customer acquisition cost and payback.

What happens to my data if we don't work together?

We delete it. Audit data is deleted within 60 days unless you become a client, and sooner if you ask. Disconnecting a tool stops us reading from it straight away.

How is this different from Triple Whale, Peel or Polar?

Those are dashboards you run yourself. We're built for retention, with email, SMS and subscriptions joined to every order, and the platform comes with a team that acts on what it finds.

Can I use the dashboard without hiring you?

Not yet. The dashboard is included for our agency clients today. A self-serve plan is coming; tell us if you'd like early access.

Find your leaks.
Then fix them.
