Disconnect a tool
Any of these stops us reading from that tool straight away:
- Shopify: uninstall the Retention Systems app in your Shopify admin (Settings → Apps). Shopify then tells us to delete your store's data, and we do.
- Klaviyo: delete the private API key you created for us (Settings → API keys).
- Recharge: delete the API token you created for us (Apps & integrations → API tokens).
- Meta: remove Retention Systems in Facebook (Settings → Business Integrations).
When the dashboard is available to you, you can also disconnect each tool from its settings page.
When we delete your data
- Access keys and tokens: as soon as a tool is disconnected.
- Audit data, if you don't become a client: within 60 days of the audit.
- Client data: within 30 days of disconnecting or the end of our engagement.
- Backups: deleted as they expire.
Ask us to delete it now
Email privacy@retentionsystems.net from an address linked to your store and we'll delete your data within 30 days, and confirm when it's done.
If you're a shopper
Please ask the brand you bought from to delete your data. When a brand deletes you in Shopify, Shopify tells us and we delete you too. You can also email us and we'll pass your request to the brand.
